Western Iran planned to become hydrocarbon hub

In line with its 5-year economic plan, Iran will spend about $2 billion to implement plans in developing oil and gas fields in the western part of the country in a bid to become Iran’s oil and gas hub, IRNA news agency reported.
Announcing this, Director of the Planning Affairs Department at Central Regions Oil Company Abdolrahim Torabizadeh told IRNA that under the Oil Ministry’s strategic plan, $1 billion will be invested in development of oil fields such as Tang Bijar and Kermanshah in the west of the country during the period.
Torabizadeh said that $1 billion will be allocated to the development of fields such as Tangbijar and Cheshmeh Khosh in Dehloran. |
