Leading energy experts to meet in Bahrain

Manama , Kingdom of Bahrain is set to host the 9th Annual Pipeline Rehabilitation & Maintenance Conference and Exhibition, taking place from 9-13 December 2007 at Bahrain International Exhibition Centre.
Co-hosted by Saudi Aramco and BAPCO, Pipeline Rehabilitation & Maintenance will take place alongside PennWell’s inaugural Oil & Gas Maintenance Technology conference and exhibition. This annual technical forum will provide the oil and gas industry with opportunities for pipeline specialists from the Gulf’s national oil companies, suppliers, contractors and other maintenance specialists to learn about new techniques and technologies being deployed in the industry, and share best practice with industry colleagues.
The world-class technical conference includes welcome keynotes from Dr Mustafa Alsayed, Chief Executive of BAPCO and Mr Amer Al Sulaim, Executive Director of Industrial Services, Saudi Aramco. The event is held under the patronage of, and will be opened by, H.E. Dr Abdul-Hussain Bin Ali Mirza, Minister of Oil & Gas Affairs and Chairman, National Oil & Gas Authority, Kingdom of Bahrain .
The conference sessions will cover topics including managing and evaluating pipeline integrity, operational problems, cleaning and coating of pipelines, making repairs during rehabilitation, as well as rehabilitation process and procedures. Other companies represented in the speaker program include ADCO, BAPCO, Halliburton, Incal Pipeline Rehabilitation, Metacor, NDT Systems & Services, PDO, Petrobras, PETRONAS, Rosen and Saudi Aramco.
