Momentum to install Magtymguly drilling platform

Dubai-based Momentum was awarded the transportation and installation of Magtymguly drilling platform (MDP-A) which form part of Phase 1A platform.
Petronas Carigali ( Turkmenistan ) is the Operator of Block 1, offshore Turkmenistan in the Caspian Sea .
Petronas envisages a phased development of the oil and natural gas reserves of Block 1. Initially, there will be an ‘Extended Well Test’ facility (EWT) followed by a Gas Full Field Development (FFD).
Gas FFD Phase 1A – By the end of 2007, the Magtymguly facility will be brought on stream and the onshore terminal capacity expanded to allow up to 250 million standard cubic feet of gas production together with condensate loading offshore shuttling tankers. |
