After 30 years of operations in the region, a US-based pipeline solutions company has opened its first service and support centre in the Middle East
TD Williamson (TDW), manufacturer of pipeline maintenance utility and services provider, last week inaugurated its office in Dubai ’s Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (Jafza).
TDW is involved in large contractual pipeline integrity management projects in Middle Eart companies such as Saudi Aramco. It used to relying solely on representative agents and distributors across the Middle East for technical and commercial support.
“This service centre will become the launch pad for many initiatives in this important region,” Bruce Binkley, CEO of TD Williamson told Pipeline on the sidelines of the inauguration. “We recognise our customers are striving to enhance the reliability and integrity of their pipelines.”
Recognised for manufacturing patented pipeline cleaning, maintenance and rehabilitation technologies, TDW is aiming to meet the requirements of clients such as emergency repair and on-the spot inspections.
“It took time to change the business model but we value our client’s requirements and are looking for pro-activity as we get closer to them,” TDW Vice President Andre Borucki said. “The only way for turnkey and broad-scope solutions is to base personnel to support the technology.” |
