Energy City Qatar to host state-of-the-art data centre

Energy City Qatar and NavLink, an AT&T affiliated company agreed to explore options to develop, build and operate a state-of-the-art data centre.

“In particular, we will be looking to see how we can develop hosting and managed services for our tenants, possibly co-branded as Energy City Qatar / NavLink,” Hesham Al Emadi, CEO of Energy City Qatar, said.

NavLink will enable Energy City Qatar offer advanced IP-based services to its tenants.

The Energy City Qatar Data Centre will provide tenants with access to ultra-fast, uninterrupted communications across the globe.

Energy City head of technology Mark Fuller, said: “ Energy City Qatar will install an advanced Data Node capable of directly interconnecting our residents with businesses and other Energy Cities around the world, using the fastest, most reliable technology available,”
