ENOC recently conducted a blood donation campaign in conjunction with Al Wasl Hospital. Held at ENOC House Auditorium with 59 donors from ENOC’s 30 subsidiaries participating, the blood drive proved to be an immense success.
Khalid Hadi, ENOC Group Brand and Marketing Manager said: “As a socially-responsible company, ENOC is always looking at ways to give back to the community. We are grateful for the opportunity to participate in this blood donation drive, which significantly benefits children.”
The aim of the campaign is to assist children suffering from a rare blood disease called Thalassemia, an inherited disease wherein blood cells are vulnerable to mechanical injury and can prove to be fatal. Children affected with this disease need constant blood transfusions to survive. |
