J. Ray McDermott , S.A. (J. Ray) announces the award of a contract by Maersk Oil Qatar to engineer, procure, construct, and install two wellhead decks for the Block 5 Field Development Plan 2005 project.
´Through an EPCI project customers benefit from optimum planning and scheduling, with all services managed and carried out in-house, providing a host of advantages to all parties,ˇ said Hafez Aghili, J. The two decks have a combined weight in excess of 4,800MT and will be designed at J. Ray˙s Houston engineering office as well as at its regional headquarters in Jebel Ali, Dubai, where the structures will be fabricated in 2007 and installed by J. Ray˙s marine crews offshore Qatar in 2008. |
