Bahrain oil by-products up

Bahrain 's export of oil by-products rose by 3.8% to top 7.87 million tonnes for the last nine months, up from 7.58 million for the same period last year.
Shipments of naphtha, petrol, diesel, kerosene and fuel oil were exported to the GCC, in addition to other Arab, Asian, African and EU countries, the National Oil and Gas Authority said.
Gas oil had the lion's share of 41% of overall oil by-products with 3.22 million tonnes. This represents an increase of 132,000 tonnes over last year.
Fuel oil exports also reached 2.21 million tonnes, which represents 28% of the total exports.
Exports of kerosene represented 15% with 1.13 million tonnes, compared with 12% for naphtha and 4% for petrol.
Naphtha exports boasted a 6% rate of growth over the past six months compared with 3.6% for kerosene, 4.6% for fuel oil, 4.5% for diesel.
Exports of petrol plummeted by 13.6 per cent over the same period.
