Tomoe Valve opens new business unit in Middle East

Tomoe Valve Limited, a leader in the design and manufacturing of valves and process control systems, has opened a new business unit in the Middle East to build upon the company˙s rapid market growth in this region and directly support its expanding installed customer base.
Tomoe has opened two sales offices in the United Arab Emirates - one in Abu Dhabi and one in Jebel Ali near Dubai, and is a key part of the Tomoe Group globalisation strategy.
Willie Duncan, managing director at Tomoe Valve Ltd, said, ´During these past few years we have achieved significant results and new business in the Middle East territories, our sales offices in the UAE will support our initiatives in the countries of the GCC .It also extends our sales development programme for the neighbouring Gulf States and will enable us to pursue our development work in the surrounding former Soviet Union states.ˇ
´With investment in Saudi Arabia alone expected to reach $600 billion over the next 20 years it is essential for the future expansion of our business that we maintain a direct and strong presence in this high growth market. We have an extensive range of products ideally suited to the varying industry demands that exist in this region and our direct operations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai means will provide excellent support for our activities in the Oil and Gas and Contractor sectors.ˇ
The Abu Dhabi office will focus on the Oil and Gas industries with high specification products, and the Jebel Ali office will concentrate on the Construction Business, where it has recently won a significant order for 8x54ˇ Triple Offset valves on the King Abdullah City project near Rabigh.
The Area Sales Manager, based in Abu Dhabi, is Kevin Sullivan, who has relocated from Tomoe Valve (UK) where he was the Contracts Manager. The Dubai Jebel Ali office is managed by Ayumu Hitomi who has transferred from the Sales Division in Tomoe Valve Co Ltd in Osaka, Japan. |
