Iran to tender South Pars 23 and 24

The National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) opens the tender of South Pars 23 and 24, Iran˙s Mehr news agency reported.
The gas projects are located in the Persian Gulf and Pars Special Energy Economic Zone, Site 1 (Assaluyeh).
The development aims to supply 40 million cubic meters per day of treated natural gas to domestic network; petrochemical grade ethane gas recovery at a minimum rate of 750,000 tons per annum; premium grade LPG recovery at a minimum rate of 800,000 tons per annum for expert; production of 60,000 barrels per day of treated stabilized condensate for export; and sulfur recovery at a rate of 360 tons per day for export.
Brief scope of work of the development shall be fabrication and installation of three wellhead platforms comprising of free water separation and well testing facilities, required utilities packages, bridges and flare platforms; drilling of 2 appraisals and 32 development wells.
The appraisal wells will be completed and utilised as development wells; laying of 2 x 20ˇ infield flow lines of about 10 Km each, between the platforms; laying of 1 x 36ˇ se aline of about 90 km to onshore and 1 x 4 1/2ˇ piggy-back line connecting all platforms to onshore facilities; installation of an onshore gas treating plant at Pars Special Energy Economic Zone, Site 1, Assaluyeh of Bushehr Province. The gas plant shall consist of two identical gas processing trains of 750 MMscfd each; and infrastructure as required.
The projects shall be conducted on the basis of ´Buybackˇ scheme, utilising Iranian contractors and manufacturers, equivalent to 51% of the contract value as minimum.
Financially capable and technically proficient contractors wishing to be invited to the tender are requested to submit the following prequ alification documents to Pars Oil & Gas Company.
Prequalification documents are to be received by Pars Oil & Gas Company no later than August 15, 2006 at the Pars Oil and Gas Company No. 132, Parvin Etesami St., Fatemi Avenue, Tehran - IRAN

Only such contractors that are found qu alified by the National Iranian Oil Company shall be included in the bidders˙ list and will be invited to participate in the tender. The tender documents shall be available to invited participants only.
Contractors should note that the National Iranian Oil Company reserves, interalia, the right to accept or reject any or all of the proposals at its sole discretion. |
