Herbras-1 abandoned

Singapore Petroleum Company (SPC) said the Herbras-1 exploration well in the Sampang Production Sharing Contract is being plugged and abandoned at a depth of 2,515 metres. Herbras-1 did not encounter significant hydrocarbons after penetrating the primary objective.

Participants in the sharing contract are Singapore Petroleum with 36%, Santos with 40.5%, Cue Sampang with 13.5% and PT Petrogas Oyong Jatim with 10.0%
