Dolphin Energy receives bids

Dolphin Energy says it has received early this week technical bids from pre-qualified bidders for its Eastern Gas Distribution System project.
The project covers engineering, procurement and construction of civil, pipelines, mechanical, SCADA, telecommunication and electrical works with regard to expanding, modifying and upgrading existing Eastern Gas Distribution System. The tender also covers construction of new Dolphin Operation/Administration building facility at Al Maqta Gas Terminal and the expansion of its control building at Al Ain Gas Terminal.
Bids were received from Consolidated Contractors International, Al Husam General Trading Establishment, Contracting and Trading Company and Punj Lloyd Limited for the Civil and Fibre Optic Cable EPC Works.
For the East and West EPC Works, bids from Consolidate Contractors, Contracting and Trading, Punj Lloyd and Technip & Al Jaber Consortium were received.
The awards for the two tenders are likely to be announced in May 2006.
