ADNOC opens up for CNG tenders

 Abu Dhabi National Oil Corporation (Adnoc) distribution says it is to pre-qualify contractors and prepare tender documents for its Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) projects. Tenders are expected to be out by the second half of 2006, according to the UAE official news agency.
Adnoc Distribution has announced yesterday plans for expansion of the Natural Gas Vehicles in Abu Dhabi beyond the recently commissioned project for CNG.
The company said that it intends to install 10 NGV refuelling facilities in its existing service station, in addition to three centres for converting vehicles to use CNG.
