Qatar ’s RasGas has signed a term contract with Petronet LNG of India for the supply of nearly 1.25 million tonnes of natural gas to be imported in ships in liquefied form at the company's Dahej terminal in Gujarat .

ConocoPhillips said it will establish a Water Sustainability Centre that will examine ways of treating and using by-product water from oil production and refining operations, as well as other projects relating to industrial and municipal water sustainability. The centre will be located in Qatar Science & Technology Park at Education City, Doha, Qatar.

Schlumberger said it has acquired Geosystem, a Milan-based provider of land and marine electromagnetics (EM) and seismic imaging services. Electromagnetics is a subsurface measurement used by the oil and gas industry for enhanced reservoir description and is one of the fastest-growing new technologies in the oilfield.

Dana Gas shareholders approved the issue of a convertible sukuk for $1 billion which can be upsized. The company approved the issue at an extraordinary meeting headed by Sheikh Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qassimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Honorary Chairman of Dana Gas.
