Invensys has been awarded a project by Petrofac Facilities Management to enable migration of the ageing Emerson Fisher Provox system on the Kittiwake production platform in the central North Sea to a new process control systems (PCS), namely, a Foxboro I/A Series system. The project is due to be completed in 2007.

Rashid Petroleum Company (Rashpetco) has awarded Aker Kvaerner a contract to supply five umbilicals to the Rosetta Phase 3 gas development in the Rosetta Concession, offshore Nile Delta, Egypt . The contract is valued at NOK 130 million.

Tuppen and Wayne Stennes have joined the company in its Dubai location as Regional Manager Well Control Services and Regional Manager Safeguard, respectively. Bill Bulcher has joined Boots & Coots as Corporate Controller.

:: Rally Energy sees increase in production rates

Rally Energy says its corporate production exit rate for the third quarter 2006 exceeded 6,100 boe/d. Consolidated average production during the third quarter 2006 was 5,716 boe/d representing a 25% increase over second quarter 2006 production of 4,575 boe/d.
