BJ Tubular Services has won a contract from Hardy Exploration & Production ( India ) Inc. to provide a range of well services in India . The contract calls for offshore casing and tubing running services, as well as cold cutting services for tubulars ranging in size from 20-inch casing to 3-1/2-inch tubing.

ABS has given full design approval for the class of the compressed natural gas (CNG) carrier designed and developed by Canadian-based Sea NG Corporation. Full approval follows the earlier Approval in Principle (AIP) issued by ABS for the Sea NG design in 1997 and is the first full class approval for a CNG carrier issued by the Bureau.
